Womxn of Achievement Nomination form 2022

  • Nominee's Commitment to Intersectional Racial Justice and YWCA Values & Mission

Nominees will be considered based on: 1) demonstration and inspirational involvement in the community and/or movement, 2) recognized as a leader in racial justice and/or intersectionality focused efforts, and 3) how they model their life in line with the YWCA Olympia’s mission to eliminate racism and sexism and YWCA’s values.

For the 27th year, YWCA Olympia is excited to celebrate inspiring South Sound community members during our annual Womxn of Achievement Celebration on Saturday, February 19, 2022.  As part of our collective work of bringing about racial and gender justice, YWCA Olympia is excited to amplify and celebrate the innovative work and inspiring visions of the 2022 Womxn of Achievement.

Tickets: The 2022 Womxn of Achievement Celebration will be held virtually on Saturday, February 19thPlease check back for more information about ticket sales close to the event

Ticket Philosophy: Although Womxn of Achievement will be virtual, we are asking the community to help us generate needed donations by purchasing a ticket to attend this event, as you would if attending this event in-person.   On the night of the event (February 19th), you will have the opportunity to make an additional donation if you are called to and are able to do so.  Because we are selling tickets to support YWCA Olympia’s work, we are excited to “pass through” all of the night of donations directly to the 2022 Honorees, to invest in their critical work.

This means that the donations from the tickets will support YWCA Olympia and donations made the night of the event will directly support the 2022 WOA Honorees.
