Different Canvas Camp
Different Canvas is a FREE day camp for 12-17 year old youth. This camp is open to all genders and all races, though it is curated for the youth of color experience. We will spend the week exploring healing, identity, and community through art. We will specifically be exploring what it means to heal from the impacts of historic and ongoing racism and marginalization.
We will have workshops with visiting artists, group discussions, and field trips, all culminating in a gallery show for families and community members.
When is Different Canvas Camp?
Different Canvas Camp will run from July 15-19. On Mon-Thurs, camp runs 11am-5pm and we’ll have an art opening & celebration on Friday, July 19th from 3-7pm.
