Bread + Belonging: Free Community Kitchen
Join us Friday April 3rd for our next Community Kitchen: Bread + Belonging. We’ll be hearing from friends and advocates with THISL who are providing a Know Your Rights training. This training will assist on preparing your businesses or organizations for ICE presence

Black Women’s History Month
Join the Thurston County NAACP for an unforgettable evening. Hear from Debrena Gandy Jackson, Best-Selling Author, Speaker and Mentor to 16 Black Women Leaders.
NAACP will be recognizing the contributions of Black women Leaders in Thurston County. The event will begin with check-in and reception starting at 5:30 pm, where we will be serving heavy Hors d'oeuvres and you will enjoy the sound of beautiful singing bowls.
The program will start at 6pm. You will hear opening remarks from NAACP WAO area President Sheley Seacrest and then our remarkable Keynote speaker.
The event will end with NAACP of Thurston County honoring a group of Black Women Leaders. All Attendees will receive a gift! P.S. WE WILL BE SHARING A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! Visit www.naacpthurston.org

Join us during Black Wellness Week for a community gathering rooted in connection, reflection, and celebration.
We will be gathering together to discuss our collective wellness, and ways we grow wellness together - building connections that prioritizes health and wellness of the Black Community extending beyond this week

Thurston Forward DEIB Summit
The Thurston Forward DEIB Summit 2026 is a two-day community experience dedicated to strengthening equity, belonging, and collaboration across Thurston County.
The Summit opens Friday evening with a connection and networking experience designed to spark relationships, build trust, and ground participants in shared purpose. On Saturday, the gathering continues with a full day of collective learning, storytelling, youth leadership, and interactive development sessions that deepen understanding and inspire courageous, community-centered action
