What is Pride Camp all about? Pride Camp offers youth a celebration of LGBTQ+ history, self-expression, and JOY! celebrate pride with their peers! Pride Camp is intended to empower youth, create community and have fun. This year we are SO EXCITED to partner with Capital City Pride and Lacey MakerSpace to bring your an unforgettable experience.
WHEN?
June 22nd, 2026 - June 25th, 2026. We open our doors at 9:30 until 10:00 am for drop off every day and pick up is at 3:00 - 3:15 pm.
WHO?
All YWCA of Olympia Youth Summer Camps are available for youth aged 13 - 16 years old of any gender, sexuality, race, religion, or socioeconomic status.
WHERE?
Our first day will be gathering at Friendship Hall, located at our main building at 220 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA 98501. We will also spend time at Lacey MakerSpace at St. Martins, and final camp schedule will be sent out to families prior to the start of camp.
COST?
We believe all youth should be able to go to camp regardless of whether they can afford to or not. However, the cost to run our camps every year is quite expensive. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your donation to help sustain the cost of camp and keep our camps free for all youth!
If it is available to your family to make a donation along with your registration, you can select a "paid" ticket or add an additional contribution.

Youth Summer Camps 2025
Thank you to everyone who made our 2025 summer youth programming a huge success!! From our youth program team (Nikki, Marisa, Kaiden, Seth, and Tali) and community partners like Lacey Maker Space, GRuB, the Secretary of State’s Office, to the volunteers and guest facilitators including Luna DeLyte, JD Sweet, and Cyrus - we are so grateful to everyone who contributed to make this happen. What a summer to remember!
Pride Camp
Pride Camp is a celebration of identity, community, and self-expression. This camp provides a safe and joyful space for young people to connect, make friends, and embrace who they are. This year we will be finding our inner drag personalities with local Drag performer Luna Delyte. We also will be learning the art of bouquet making with GRuB as well as creating our own affirmations and pride flags.

Have you ever wanted to create your own Comic Book? How about designing your own medallion while working with different metals? Well you can at Different Canvas Camp. This year we are teaming up with local comic book artist JD Sweet (Ring Masters) as well as two days with Lacey Maker Space. This camp you will learn the art of comic book writing from storyboard to publication as well as design, printing and metal work when you make your own medallion. You do NOT want to miss this one!

Different Canvas Camp
Have you ever wanted to be a part of a debate? How about creating your own nation with your own government? As the capital of Washington, Olympia is the perfect place for young people to learn about legislation, public policy, and civic engagement. This year we will be learning about voting rights and processes with the Secretary of State's Office. We also will tour the capitol building and have lunch with Mayor Dontae Payne. This is the perfect camp to help Change your World!
