YWCA Olympia Mission:

Eliminating racism and sexism to advance the political, social and economic status of all women and girls.

YWCA Olympia Vision:

All people are valued, live free from oppression and thrive in a just society.

YWCA Olympia Core Values:

Collaboration. We effectively work together within the organization, as well as with community partners to strengthen our ability to achieve our vision.

Alignment with the YWCA USA Mission Statement

The YWCA of Olympia is a member of the Young Women’s Christian Association of the United States of America, Inc. and maintains that membership in accordance with the bylaws of the YWCA USA.  We are proud to align with YWCA USA‘s mission and we are dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all (adopted by the General Assembly in 2009).
